Default Post There will be a new leak I would think:D

Saw this on the front page of rage3d.com!!!!!

Cliff Watson a dedicated member at AVS Forums http://www.avsforum.com/avs-vb/showt...hreadid=142843 has got a chance to test out ATI's newest drivers that are yet to be released to see if the dreaded gamma bug that has plagued the drivers ever since release. Here's what he had to say:

Good news at last! Stephen from ATI ask me to verify that the broken gamma has been fixed in a soon to be released version of the drivers and I can confirm it has been fixed.
I increased the gamma correction setting to maximum level and the lower third of the grayscale ramp was almost vertical without any broken segments.

These new driver sets have more than just a fix for gamma but also a whole new slew of settings! Doesn't that get your juices going.
