Use Soft Mod Drivers?
All,
I bought the following card a little over a year ago: "SAPPHIRE RADEON 9800PRO 128M Radeon 9800PRO 128MB 256-bit DDR AGP 4X/8X Video Card - OEM " And subsequently flashed it to 9800XT status via a Vid Card BIOS flash. Should I use the soft mod drivers with this? I ask only because it seems to say that Soft Mod is for 9800SE's being flashed, and not 9800 Pros. Ideas? ~Nate |

no softmod only helps the 9800se unlock some parts that are already unlocked with your 9800 xt. I would use regular drivers. If you want more performance try some over clocking.

will not work or you may not see a difference.....as you're card will already have all the pipelines available..
The se's have four of them locked due to them being Pro's with small faults. |
