Is it certan cards? anyways you guys need to load the 5.9's and play
the game and report any issues back to ATI and the game maker so
they can be adressed.
ok guys,
I went ahead and installed the 5.9's
I was surprised that the system didnt reboot during the beta "Factory" map. This is the map which caused many of the issues and reboots.
The performance was about the same as the 5.6's except there was a bit of stuttering but this was also a confirmed issue reconginzed by VU.
Submitting to ATI would really be pointless,as the game has not been released and only means of testing would be the beta and demo. Also, VU monitored the tech forums and was supposedly collecting/sending ATI,bug information.
Mayro,
If you're still having issues with fear and the 5.9's,go back to the 5.6's if you havent already. Also, how did you score on 3dmark compared to the 5.6's?
The 5.9 seem pretty good so far with the exception of some benchmarks.
I ran 3dmark03 and gained 100 points and with 3dmark05 i lost between 300-350 points.heh.
Anyone else have odd results with these benchmarks?
As for the "real" benchmarks. I ran ut04 and fear. They seem to run just as well as they did with the 5.6's I had previously installed.

TruForm please. There are a lot of games, eg America's Army supports TruForm.

The Dolphin Demo requires TruForm und doesn't want to start on my 9800Pro.
But now we can say: TruForm is definitely dead. Rust in peace, my dear TruForm.

Just becouse the company is aware of an issue doesnt mean that
you should assume ATI has been made as aware untill someone from
thier side of the fence has said so. I could be wrong but as I understood
if it a driver issue you should still report it for good measure. Sure wouldn't
hurt If you want to be certain it gets adressed. Though mind you any
agreement between VU still applies. So I would not reccomend you go
about violateing a NDA or anything to report it.

It's so sad, no TruForm...

4xAA + Humus' Alpha to Coverage:

4xAA + Adaptive AA:

How to enable:
Turn on your Regedit and seaurch for HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Contro l\Video\{...}\0000, set ASTT_NA to 0:

You may need to restart. It works fine on my 9800Pro.

FnF is an unknown quantity at this point

Interesting stuff... But does it work with the 5.8's as well? Because the DHZer0point 5.8's are way the best driver for me. I tried the Omega's 5.9, but BF2 doesnt look so great anymore, and the fps where lower... Or we just need a DHZer0point 5.9 (Beta) They have a really good reputation here _/-\o_
