Best set of CCC Cats yet fast,smooth, use WAY less resources,BF2 looks great and seems to run better to boot. Im almost sorry I gave them a 9 because they are as close to a 10 as I have seen

atiacmxx.dll is the context menu file for CCC
1st off Why are you trying to install the drivers in safe mode

Uninstall and install the set again under windiw in normal mode is best,

Have you tried reruning the setup in the CCC setup folder,
C:\ATI\SUPPORT\5-8_xp-2k_dd_ccc_wdm_enu_25203\ACE
In the driver folder and choose repair install? see if you
see that error again...

Did the installer fail at that point? or just gave you that error?

All else fails register you can try to register it yourself
useing Regsvr32 just serch for the file and register it.

You think this is good, should have seen it with the early 8500 release

Went from on par/below a GF3 Ti200 to as fast or faster than a Ti500, I basically ended up with an entirely different beast in the end
