Omega 4.12:

3DMark01: 18,662
Aquamark 3: 50,187

ATI 5.8:

Aquamark 3: 51,490
Doom 3: 54.0 FPS

Other than the drop in 3DMark01 (which doesn't really matter), I like the improvement . The CCC is looking nice, and runs fast.

Two space marines are siting in an abandond cafe in mars base.

Space Marine #1 says, "Thank god for real time shadows, that demon almost snuck up behind me. If it wasent for the shadow cast by the lightsource behind me I wouldent have seen him coming!"

Space Marine #2 says, "You must be using an ATI card, because I can't run dynamic lighting with my nVidia..."

I wouldent count on any driver for a card just released to be that good, they need to get feedback from the mas populous about what needs to be changed, etc...

Usually the driver will be release before 13th every month, but this month with some delay.

Is it that the delay due to R520?

Anyone have any idea in modding X800GT? I heard that hardware and software mod can't mod the pipelines?

Great job Catalyst makers!

Hope that Omega will release the driver soon.

Errr about 6 hours worth of improvements and testing.... logically speaking.

I'd say they most likely know what they need to change to get improvements from previous releases as most of it's bug fixes(no ccc in NGO's) they may not have had much to improve.

I tested with 3dmark05 and had a slight improvement. No doubtr comparisions between ati omega and ngo will be out as soon as the omegaman releases his.

Yea, I know what you mean. Sometimes I don't update for like a week or so, because I'm too lazy to restart my computer that many times

And I, too, was getting errors with the CCC the first few times I tried installing this set..kept getting the "Application has been terminated" thing
