latest omega doesnt work

i have a laptop with a 320m in it, i dloaded the latest omega driver(Radeon Omega Drivers 2.6.53 (Catalyst 5.7)) and it installed fine, then when i try to start up the computer the screen flickers a whole lot with a blue screen moving around saying something about an ininite loop, i cant read it well b/c of the flickering.

so i just used an older omega driver

and which driver is better:
2.5.97a (Catalyst 4.12)
or
2.5.76 (Catalyst 4.9)

the 1st one has a higher omega # but the 2nd has a higher catalyst #

ive also tried the mobility modder with the latest ati driver but during the installation it kept on asking for these files that i didnt have

and when i play the sims 2 i get that ininite loop problem, but only with that game and ive played alot of intense games

omega's 5.6 doesnt work either, i have the same problem as before except that the screen doesnt flicker, and the problem is that the driver caused an infinite loop

can any1 help with any of this?

i thought that omega was suppose to work with all mobility cards? the newer versions dont?

and now 2.6.25a (cat 5.5) works so im going to have to stay with that but i still get the infinite loop when i play the sims 2, its sometimes 2 min into the game of an hour

also i get this in the event viewer when the comp starts up

The following boot-start or system-start driver(s) failed to load:
atitray

and this is how im suppose to fix it:
 1. Verify that the drivers are configured correctly.
 2. Verify that the computer is running the most current version of the drivers.

System Specs

I dealt with this issue (atitray not loading) right after Omega's last release that include the ATT.

Go to the C:\Program Files\[where Omega drivers are loaded] and delete the folder for the Ati Tray Tools.

Metal Massacre is on a distinguished road

I'm having that problem but the kicker is I uninstalled these drivers ages ago (uninstall then used driver cleaner). This event apparently causes my system to crash since everytime it comes up it's related to the whole friggin system crashing out, this only happens when I play games which is another terrible aspect to this. Any ideas?

Edit: I'm trully sorry for bumping this I didn't realise how old it was till after I posted, I found the thread by doing a google search.
