use the cleaner you say you installed, boot in safe mode- start cleaner Pro and choose ATI-clean-also clean cub(see menu). After that make a reg clean if you have one(else regedit and search for all entries "UNIAN" and delete them)-reboot in normal mode and install any other drivers you want to use..
Hope this helps you or else PM or reply here for any further help

Widkidone is an unknown quantity at this point

1.First uninstall the Unian Catalyst
2. Uninstall Display drivers and Control Panel in your Add and Remove Programs
3. After you do Step #2 Reboot into Safe Mode
3. Run DriverCleaner 1.2 and clean "ATI"
4. Then run your Cab Cleaner
5. Reboot into normal desktop and your system will be looking for new hardware.
6. Then install whatever drivers you want
7. Run your Crap Cleaner to scan for issues
8. Then reboot

drivercleaner should work fine for cleaning them out.

CAB cleaner cleans out the driver.cab and sp2.cab files of video drivers I believe...could be useful. I run it anyway

the igp entries are for ati chipset drivers, no sense in removing them if you dont have an ati motherboard chipset.
the latest (5.6) are pretty damn fast.
NGO and UniAN have both released modded driver sets for them if you dont like using the official ati drivers

it shouldnt cause any problems. theres the chance you may have to reinstall your chipset drivers, i dont think you'll have to though.

as for the unians i dont know, i've never used the unian driverset (havent heard anything bad about them). i havent had any problems with NGO's driverset, currently im using the x64 NGO 5.5s with 5.6 files (not many driversets for x64 at the moment).

UNIANS are more for tweakers/benchmarkers....but they don't work bad at all. I've just tried 5.6 and so far, so good
