CCC not Loading with .NET 2.0 beta 2 and Cats 5.6
Hi there,
After reading the CP vs CCC post, I've decided to give a serious try to CCC.
I've installed .NET 2.0 beta 2, and then cats 5.6, but I cant load CCC, even after "Restarting Runtime"....could someone please help me?

It's known problem with .net 2.0 beta2 and cat5.6 CCC. Either use .net2.0 beta1 or .net1.1 both should work with cat5.6 CCC

.NET 1.1 with patches works better than the beta.

I used both net1.1 and .2.0beta1 with cat5.6 CCC and think it works better with net2.0 beta1

I find .NET 1.1 with patches to be more stable than the 2.0 beta....but I'm also using it with Visual Studio so that might be why.

Which on of this alternatives will not force my to select user when starting up the computer?. I switch to 1.1 .NET without patches, and know, even showing just 1 user in the welcome screen, it stops there waiting for me to select user.

Thats not .NET's fault...try running services.msc and then disabling terminal services. That might do it

YES it is .NET's fault, updating to .NET 1.1 SP1 fixes that issue with the logon

Just installing 1.1 SP1 will fix the logon issue?

Yep, if you are still having the problem after or dont want to install .net service pack, you can just delete the .NET account in the control panel user accounts icon

You do realise that you are comparing a final (patched) product with a beta, right? It is pretty obvious that 1.1 is more stable than 2.0
