Omega 2.6.25a screen lag/long wait when opening the lid

Using the current latest Omega drivers I'm getting a long wait when reopening the lid on my laptop.
Takes about 4-5 seconds for the LCD to turn back on, when normally it would be a fraction of a second.
There's also a high processor usage for ati2evxx.exe during that period.

Is there any way to fix this with some settings, or where should I report this as a bug?

I would like to continue using Omega's, especially for the custom resolutions, or is there any way I could manually add them to the official Catalyst's until newer Omega's are released?

Thanks in advance!

I would suggest driver cleaner and a reinstall of the Omega's, or going back a version.

Out of curiosity, what graphics chip is it?

Mobility Radeon 9600 with 64MB VRAM.

I'm not too fond of using Catalysts again, as I said, I've grown to love custom resolutions and other tweaks that I have no time to manually implement, nor the knowledge of how to do it, of course :P
+ I'm kind of obsessed with latest-versions, downgrading Omega's seems to be a bit hard for me too

I'm thinking I'll wait till the new Omega's, see what they'll do, otherwise I'll send an e-mail to the author.

Well downgrading a version won't kill the performance, I'm sure and if it fixes it so be it.

The latest does not always equal the greatest
