ALL-IN-WONDER X800 XT Problem, Please Help
Okay, so about a week ago I bought this video card and installed it into my system. After installing the drivers I have had nothing but problems with my computer. My system will randomly turn my monitor off and not respond while operating Windows XP Pro SP2. I've tried the old drives that came with the video card, the newest ATI Drivers from the web, and the latest Omega Drivers. When I uninstall the drivers system does not crash. How Do I Fix This?????
-All other devices have the latest drivers and are working correctly.
My system specs:
ASUS P4P800 SE w/Stable BIOS
Intel P4 3.0E HT 800FSB
ATI ALL-IN-WONDER Radeon X800 XT
Creative Labs Soundblaster Audigy 2 ZS
1 Gb PC 3200 Corsair RAM
Antec 400 Watt Smart Power 2.0 PSU

I have no idea if this has any relevance whatsoever and I apologise if it hasnt but what did you upgrade from? Maybe someone a little more knowlegeable will know but is that 400W PSU providing enough power for the card? You have a pretty power hungry spec posted there. Anyway I hope you get it sorted.

I had this problem with my machine but I fixed it by allowing the CPU to control the S2K bus timings...has no effect for a P4.
Try disabling HyperThreading maybe?

Could this be the result of a faulty video card? Also when I check out the event viewer in Windows, there is quite a bit of error messages involving "ati2mtag" with an event # of "1049." Does anyone know what this means???

It means you pressed the post button 3x....
Hehe... why not look it up and send it to ATI and get them to deal with it?

If monitor shuts off it's probably a power issue... Try your card in someone elses system, or get a new Power supply... like a 500+ watt...
The power supply in my specs below works very well on my system... I also have 10 case fans and 2 HD's...
Also, I used to get the same problem with my monitor shutting off until I got a new power supply...
