No custom resolutions with X800XL?

I use Powerstrip to add custom resolutions to my vid card. Previously, I had a 9800 Pro, which with the omega drivers, worked my custom resolutions just fine. Now, with my new X800XL PCIE card and the latest omega drivers, those same resolutions just put my monitor into standby. I can't see ATI removing the ability to add those custom resolutions from a 9800 Pro to the X800XL.

Is anyone else here having problems adding custom resolutions? Is this a PCIE thing? I'm running out of ideas here

Custom res. doesn't work with any new drivers- it is a driver problem. Omegas based on new drivers don't work either.

I went back to 4.12's I think the last set that worked was 5.3.. not sure though.

Hoping 5.5 fixes it.

Yep I'm having issues with my x800 XL too, it only shows 3 resolutions as being supported for my digital DLP projector which supports every conceivable rez from 640x480 to 1920x1080, and when I try and make customs, well it just doesn't let me. I reported the issue to ATi and they tried to make out it was my system configuration, to which I gave them a rather stern reply.
