Problem with Direct3d and Opengl on x600

[color=black]I have an HP Pavillion zd8000 with a ATI Mobility Radeon X600 and have been using it for about 2 weeks now. I have installed the latest drivers for my Graphics card from the Omega Website

My Problem was before installing Omega Drivers: After a while of using my computer I got screen glitch and eventually the screen just went blank, although the LCD Display is still on (i can tell because of the screen glow). Now whenever I boot up normally after the windows loading screen it just goes blank. I can boot into safe mode fine but do not know a fix for this problem.

I fixed this by using Omega Drivers but now when I run DxDiag It i stating I cant use Direct3d and that my available video memory is n/a(whats with that). when I run Call of Duty it says it cant run OpenGL. Right now I have hardware acceleration set to one below max on the slider under Display>Advanced>Troubleshoot. If I set the bar to max the screen glitches and I get alot of lag, but even with the slider set to max I get the opengl and direct3d problems.

I am wondering if I should switch Drivers or if theyre is a fix to these symptoms.

Try updating Radlinker; I'm not sure the version with those Omega drivers understands your x600, which is why CoD is seeing things like:

DDraw Status: Not Available
D3D Status: Not Available
AGP Status: Not Available

You might have to wait a bit, and use mfr drivers, until ChrisW & Omega can get an update out for your card, too...

System Specs

Note, to use official CATALYST drivers you will need to modify them using Mobility Modder
