What's New in Omega Drivers?
v2.6.25

* Based on the Catalyst 5.4 Official drivers.
* Updated a lot of the internal tweaks for Mobility 9200 cards.
* Updated some other tweaks for all cards.
* Removed some redundant files from package.
* Added new option to installer: now you can select between installing with or without Radlinker, in case some of you can't use Radlinker for some reason or use another 3rd party tweaker.

What's new for RadLinker?
v2.034

* Removed support for Windows 98 and ME.
* Rewritten driver.
* Cleaned up user interface.
* Removed temporal FSAA threshold as it does not appear to be needed anymore.
* DirectX 8 or greater is now required.

UPDATE:
Guys, for those of you having problems with soft mods, resolutions and installation, please try this version:

When prompted say YES to overwrite newer files every time, then restart and test. Let me know how it goes...

Im having some problems installing these. Unpacking the setup files worked fine, but when I try executing the setup it just hangs for a couple minutes and then I get a error message saying the "installation engine could not be started" "server blah blah failed"

Cant figure out whats wrong...

Great drivers ^^ but it appears the 1200 x 900 resolution was dropped from it for some reason..? Being it was the perfect middle-ground for my monitor (1280 x 960 knock my refresh rate down from 85 to 75 Hz, and 1152 x 864 is too small for comfortable work) ... well, really wish i'd have it back ;.;

...

hmm just poked around in the cx2k_rad_omega file and the 1200x900 mode is still listed in there... but for some strange reason it doesn't work for me anymore. o.O

Did you try forcing with a custom resolution in powerstrip to test?

hm now im unable to install any drivers at all, something is preventing me from initating setups for some reason. Anyone know what it might be? Perhaps ive disabled some windows services thats required?

Any help is appreciated, id like to get back to wow as soon as possible without a whole windows reinstall :P

going to take back my first comment.Half life 2 will not load using these omegas....diverted back to the whql 5.4s (DC used inbetween each install) now my pc is running as it were.

Im not saying these drivers are shit..... they are just not working for me...

went from 12537 to 12621 on 3dmark21. The old drivers were cats 5.4. these are nice

The longest spell of hl2 were not much longer than 2 minutes....(Looking good at this point) on hindsight i should of made a copy of the error report i got when i tried to re-connect to hl2.this is were it would not let me (or reload) hl2.as i said back onto whql 5.4's no problems at all.But i must say i do prefer whql drivers installed on my pc..

The softmod 9500@9700 doesn't do what is supposed to do. Initially, after reading in RivaTuner that only 4 pipelines are active, I thought I'd selected normal driver when installing. So I used the SoftMod Driver Swapper, selected 9500@9700 but RivaTuner still reports only 4 pipes active. And this is correct since results in Doom3 bench are at half of usual value. Any ideas ? Maybe using the patched ati2mtag.sys for Catalyst 5.4 circulating on net ? I do not want to interfere with any optimizations Omega made to this set of drivers.

Oh crap - I use 1200 x 900 too. I hope I can get that res to work for me with these. I'll let you know monday..

Oh- and try 75 hz.... no flicker.

I've installed powerstrip and tried its custom mode but it didn't work, either... unisntalled the new drivers, ran the cleaner and put the previous ones based on 5.2, and i have my 1200x900 back ... no idea what's making the difference with 5.4 :/ can it have something to do with settings in the Displays -> Monitor Properties -> Advanced -> Synchronization panel? with 5.2 all buttons are off here, and with new drivers i think it was set to something different... going to download the setup files again, uninstall/clean the 5.2's and try again...

Hmm..Half-life 2 opens just fine for me with these Omega Cats (5.4)
