i have 9600 with 5.3 drivers..but i need to set the agp settings at 0. someone told me to download a updated agp bus driver to fix this and they also said the microsoft xp sp2 has this...
what are the steps to fix this
what are the steps to find and install a agp bus driver??
You should have gotten a CD with your motherboard that contains the motherboard chipset drivers including GART driver (the one that AGP uses)
If you didnt then check your motherboard manual for the make and model of chipset and go to the webiste needed to download them
If you didnt get a motherboard manual, then you can tell what sort of motherboard you have by reading the text on the computer BIOS screen or entering the BIOS its self
As a last ditch effort the motherboard usually gives the model number along one of the edges but that can be difficult to see without taking the PC to bits
You are better off asking the store where you bought it for the make and model or checking any invoices or reciepts you may have got

Go to Chipset software, then AGP (Gart) Driver, and then click on windows xp
This is from the Chipset manufacter's website, these should work.
