Download powerstrip and use that (as long as you arent using 5.4 drivers as theres a bug preventing powerstrip working correctly)

Or add it manually by editing the inf, do a forum search to find out how

I have a similar issue - I've got an Acer 20" monitor, and the ATI Radeon 9250. I've installed Powerstrip and still do not see a 1680*1050 resolution as a choice - it goes from 1360X724 to 1600X2000, which loads but is fuzzy. I need it to look as sharp as 1280X1024 looks.
When I go to DVD mode in wide screen, the faces are horizontally distorted when aspect ratio is maintained.

I've done all of it - installed Omega (got a blue screen with a memory error), installed the new Catalyst drivers.

If anyone out there has managed to see 1680*1050 as a resolution choice, I'd love to know how it was done.

Please email me directly with the answer as a CC:, in addition to helping out on the thread, if you have!

-Bram
