BSOD - problem with ati2dvag.dll - WTF?!
Hi
A few days ago, after installation of Cat5.4, I began to have problems with my 9800PRO. The problem: constant BSOD's randomly, ONLY in Windows, not in games. The BSOD came with a message of a driver error, ati2dvag.dll. Tried to switch the drivers to the Cat. Omega 5.2. Same problem. Tried NGO 5.4. Same problem! WTF? I think that is a DRIVER/software problem, not hardware. Anyone can help me? |

well have you tried the drivers that were working before, ati2dvag.dll isnt for 3d anything so you could try using the older version of it with newer drivers.

I already thought about doing this. I'll try it soon, but for now I instaled 5.3 in my system and, in 2 days, the problem apparently gone.

I'm having the same problems with my sapphire x800xl agp and I still get the error even after using drivercleaner. The "page fault in non page area" error occurs randomly at the desktop; hasn't happened during a game, just when I least expect it a right-click of the mouse or when I changed the channel of my wintv and then BSOD all of a sudden.
