Well until now they are stable and good with what i have tried

It is nothing so special compared to 5.3 or previous drivers probably but as long everything works ok i am a happy man

My Score for now is 8 (there is still a large list of Bugs but nothing so serious fortunately)

I wil test it with more games etc and then i will have a final score about it

I;ve mixed feelings on the drivers. The visual appearance in UT2004 seems to have improved quite a bit, with better color and cleaner textures. OpenGL is certainly showing improvements. HL2 looks as good as ever with my 9800 Pro (R360), however am getting errors in the beginning of the CS:S Stress Test. Not sure why though. However, the only errors I've been able to notice were in the CS:S stress test only. I'm giving them an 8, the errors in CS:S test is a minor thing to me, the improvements in the Unreal engine are very nice, especially since I will be receiving Chaos Theory tomorrow via Fed-Ex.

I gave 'em a 9-- I'm happy with getting a bugfix for SC: Chaos Theory within a day or two of noticing a problem.

generally works fine for me - colors are a bit more vibrant, the picture overall slightly clearer. Will have to check if the sys ram filling up bug (Cat 5.3), in Far Cry, causing stuttering after long game sessions, has been fixed.

Edit: just played a round Kyodai Mahjongg and the firework displays flawless again. Looks like some bugs are fixed.

Edit: Far Cry long game sessions stuttering seems fixed as well.

I gave them an 8. While the iq is fantastic, I seem to have lost an average of 1500 points all across my benchmarks. I take that with a grain of salt. However I now have flickering in EverQuest where the world seems to "disappear" replaced with sky and clouds when you turn around, not constantly but upon occasions in just about every zone I've visited. The problem existed in the 5.3's but seem more pronounced in the 5.4's. You can even see it happen at the char select screen. Might wind up reverting back to the 5.2's so far they've been the best drivers for my rig to date.

None of my benchmarks in my sig are with the 5.4's all are done with either the 412's or 5.1's can't remember which lol

I haven't voted yet since I haven't got the new drivers... I just want to propose something... Would it be possible for some admin to change the display poll results part... so that it displays the overal driver's ratings... I know it's not hard, cause I'm an admin my self, and it would greatly improve the visibility of the score each drivers got... The avarage rate above each of the scores would be great... :]

Re: DarkFoss losing 1500 points...

Yow! With 5.3, I saw 38,200 Aqua, 7680 3D2003, 3640 3D2005, 51.0 FPS CSS:VST.
With 5.3, I'm seeing 37,900 Aqua, 7675 3D2003, 3630 3D2005, 52.7 FPS CSS:VST.

[ All of these are with 8x aniso forced, I leave that set always. ]

AquaMark performance took a bit of a hit, enough to be maybe noticable (even so, it's about 1% FPS difference) but the other results are so close that the differences aren't meaningful. I'm also not sure CSS: VST with the flashing red Errors should count reliably, but it did improve, so what the heck. OpenGL performance with Doom3 has definitely been fine-tuned and seems very smooth, and the IQ has noticably improved since 4.10 or so. 4.12 is/was a good release, 5.0 and 5.1 so-so, 5.2 was good, and 5.4 seems good too.

[ AMD 2400+, 1 GB DDR3500 RAM, 256MB VisionTek x800 Pro ]

Well I feel foolish now.
I did my monthly maintanence on my rig. Took out everything blew it out and reseated everything, and regained most of my benchmarks within 500pts. Aquamark took the largest hit. Need to run PlaneShift and see how ogl performs.
No more dissapearing world in EverQuest after a nice 6 hour romp. EQ ran very very smooth even in PoK with 70+ people hanging around the bank awaiting mass buffs the fps did not drop below 20. As stated earlier the IQ is fantastic, EQ has never looked better. I'm really liking these drivers now. I'm wondering if a mod could change my vote of 8 to a 9 ?

The 5.3s were fine. Now with the 5.4s, I get texture corruption regardless of whether geometry instancing is on or off, with both the stock and Omega drivers.
