Pissed Video clips will not play

Hi All

I am having problems with my RADEON 7500 Series, every time I run any video clip i get the first frame and then thats it, the play bar still moves. If i try close window media player i get a full system crash. This happens with WMP, quick time, real player.

This has only happend since I have installed new drivers. All works fine if i use the ATI drivers from Feb 2004. I would use this driver but you can not play HL2 or other games using this driver.

I have tried the clips on my other manchine and everything works perfect.

Has any one got any ideas who to fix the problem

Thanks in advance for any help given

I would if i belive that it would solve the problem, however newer radeon cards would use the same drivers, which would cause the same problem I think.

Thanks for the help
