there are plenty of drivers for the 8500 are you looking for something specific?

Well it`s a friend of mine asked me about drivers as he`s
just got this card .
He`s an old boy not alot of cash so he just wanted to upgrade the one he has ,sevvie

You may try www.rage3d.com . They have the newest drivers posted on their main page. Alternatively, you can look through www.warp2search.net . Try the download link or search for radeon drivers. This should lead you to a page with many of the older sets of drivers which you may try if you have difficulty with the newer drivers. Also, some people prefer optimized drivers found at www.omegacorner.com .

What is wrong with old dudes gaming?!?! (I'm on the wrong end of the 30's and am getting a might sensitive... )


I'd recomend the latest/greatest betas for your friend, the 9069 set. He can get them here, but unfortunately it's a 50MB download of drivers for all OSes....but it will take care of him proper. (I liked 'em on me win98se set-up at least. )
