Stuttering with 5.2's and WoW
Installed 5.2's yesterday and noticed a stuttering while playing World of Warcraft. Didn't happen with the 5.1's. I restarted run-time while in the app. and it seemed to have corrected it so i'll see if it happens again. Also, I had been using .Net 2 beta last few drivers cause of problems with the ATI icon not showing up in my sys. tray while using the .Net 1.1s. However, when using the .Net 2 betas, when shutting down i'd always have to end a program "Parking Windows Forms" which wouldn't properly close. Switched back to .Net 1.1 with the 5.1's just to see if the problem persisted and it seemed to correct the "Windows Parking Forms" and the icon still showed up in the windows sys. tray. Problem is now with the 5.2's is that the ATI icon is now not showing up in the tray. I was hoping I wouldn't have to go back to .Net 2 betas because of "windows parking forms" problem but it looks like i'm going to have to in order to take advantage of the new menu choices available from the system tray icon. Anyone having a similar problem with the different .Nets and the last couple of drivers? Not sure what the stuttering problem is all about so looks like the 5.1's are going to be reinstalled.

I’m have the same problem with HL2 I have not tried any another games yet
It seem to come and go... but what is strange the fps will be running around 100 but the game feels like it's running in the 20's. Anyone else having this problem? Built by ATI 9700 pro, p4c800-e 3.0e, vx910 LCD - XP SP2 |

Yeah that's pretty much how i feel. 5.1's were very nice. 5.2's are very jerky.

It's funny, MS released a few updates today. One of them was a patch for .Net 1.1 so guess what? The ATI icon now loads in the system try. Finally. Lets hope it keeps doing it after a few reboots.

I had the stuttering lockups on a fresh format with 5.2's so I switched back to 4.12's for now.
