i cannot install Omega drivers on my new X850XT on new XP Pro install

ok,

first...i used th Omegas for a long time already on my old PC w/ Radeon 9800 Pro...so i am not a newbie

Anyway...i just finished a new build with a new Sapphire X850XTm FRESH install of XP Pro SP2. (I did NOT install ATI drivers yet.)

I tried the last two Omegas (which worked) incl. the newest...but i click on the archive, it gets extracted and says everything is ok and installed - then i reboot....but the drivers are not THERE.

The drivers dont work and are not recognized.

So..i had to go to ATI and get the new Cats 5.2, and....darn they work.

BUT I WANT MY OMEGAS BACK for my new X850XT !

Please advice me what to do ..

Cat 5.2's are actually quite nice by comparison.

Just wait til Omega 5.2 comes out. Or try reformatting again. hehe.

but i thought X850XT is already supported !? I really LIKE the omega drivers, esp. the custom display modes

I hope Omega puts a rush on his Cat 5.2 version because of all the problems with his 5.1 version (one can hope)
