thats because of the "game fixes" for hl2 (and the betas b4 that for d3). because those were such big games, i'm sure they wanted to make sure they ran as best they could as soon as they could.

I was hoping for some drivers today but I haven't seen any teasing going on and it's almost 3:00 pm EST which is the average time of release. Guess it's not today guys

Yeah really. Trying to get people to waste their time looking. It's obvious we won't see the drivers as a) Terry hasn't shown up to get us hyped, b) no release notes have come out prior which is ALWAYS the case c) it's currently 6:10pm and there are no drivers and finally d) drivers are NEVER officially released as late as 6:00pm (EST)

Of course they will have something similar to digital vibrance, they have already announced plans for that.

the program powerstrip has a digital vibrance feature for ATI cards that works quite nice, but one integrated into the control panel would be much nicer.

My monitor has a feature like digital vibrance built right in (actually I think it's identical) but I don't use it as the display is sweet as hell with my customized color settings. Digital Vibrance is just a feature for crap monitors imo.
