Getting natural res on LCDtv

Hi all,

I've been trying to get my LCDtv on his natural res (1280x768).
I've tried Powerstrip to modify the settings but the display just wont do a normal 1280x768 (if it succeeds, the image gets clipped to 1024x768, the rest gets left out of the image).

See the post on entech (pstrip): http://entechtaiwan.net/forums/viewtopic.php?p=7772

In short:
Used MonInfo to retrieve the LCDinfo, it says that it supports max 1024x768, although i know it can do 1280x720p & 1920x1080i (done it...) and his natural res is 1280x786. (It's a HDTV capable LCDtv...)

Rik Wang (creator of pstrip) said the following:
Unfortunately, the highest resolution you get is 1024x768 because that is the highest Servitech *says* it supports. The information provided by MonInfo is exactly what your LCD provides the display driver and operating system.

You would want to always run your LCD at 1280x768 and nothing else, but you'll need to find a way to tell the ATI display driver to *ignore* the information provided by your monitor.

How can I do this?? Are there other methods? Can anyone help me?
