Omega Drivers and HL2 for me

with omega drivers i get such horrible lagg on HL2, like everytime i walk arround a corner it feels that textures are loading and laggs me, only happens with new ones.

Specs:
2.8 AMD
1.5Gig 2700 Twin Mos
9800 Pro (Latest Omega's)

I have nothing running in the background, 25 pros running no viruses and no ad-aware.

Same with CSS too, first round is laggy for me i have to go to spec and run thru the level in spec mode to load textures or somit

not sure whether its omega or half life's fault, but there seems to be some memory dump, same thing happened to me.

anyway, the fix is pretty easy (I posted on the aperture thread), just set memory usage to cache in advanced system settings if you're running XP, seems to bypass the memory dump at least on my rig.

i meant memory leak, it seems that it may be in the omega then somehow since i think the other thread was in call of duty, i forget, but I don't think it uses the HL2 source engine.
