Powerplay not working

Hello. I have a fujitsu-siemens amilo 1420 with mobility radeon 9700. I installed Catalyst 4.12 modded with DH Mod tool V2.1c. It works perfectly except the powerplay feature. It thinks the laptop is always plugged to AC although the laptop is using batteries. I have tried it with Catalyst control center and with ati control panel and i get always the laptop is plugged. Are there anyone with powersave working correctly? Any ati expert of the forum could help me.

Thanks in advance¡¡¡

solved

I compared the inf files of the modded driver and the original oem driver from fujitsu siemens. in the modded driver under section [ati2mtag_m11] (this is one of the parts the modder tool adds for a radeon 9700, i dont know if the sections name is the same for all cards) i set to 1 the following lines .

HKR,, ExtEvent_EnablePowerPlay, %REG_DWORD%, 1
HKR,, DALRULE_POWERPLAYSUSPENDSUPPORT, %REG_DWORD%, 1
HKR,, DALRULE_POWERPLAYOPTIONENABLEDBYDEFAULT, %REG_DWORD%, 1

After install the driver and catalyst control center the powerplay option seems to work ok and now it detects if the laptop is plugged or if it´s using batteries.

Maybe Patje could add this to next release.

Thanks to all, and specially to Patje for his wonderful tool.
