HDTV Adapter: two issues with 4.11 and 4.12 Beta
I started a discussion on Rage3D.com about one problem with HDTV Component Video Adapter and extended display mode when using a player with VMR9 (windowed or renderless mode). If you turn on the media player on the secondary display (hdtv adapter at 480i) and start using the mouse on primary display (LG Flatron 795 FT Plus 17' @ 1280x960 85Hz) the driver resets itself generating a VPU Recover error.
Today I was making a comparison between Catalyst 4.9/4.11 and 4.12b.
With Catalyst 4.9 I don´t have any errors and video quality on secondary monitor is flawless.
With Catalysts 4.11 and 4.12b when using extended mode with primary display set to anything above 1024x768, the secondary display at 480i looks blurry. The image is perfect with anything on primary equal or less than 1024x768.
I think that something is wrong with 4.11 and 4.12b.
Errors were checked on these Radeon models:
Sapphire Radeon 9500
ATI Radeon 9700 Pro
ATI Radeon 9800 Pro
I´ll submit these errors to ATI as soon as possible.
Note: Both systems managed by latest control center
