Latest omega on IGP 320 mobile (avi file crash)

All seems works well except when i try to run a video (avi) file. My notebook freeze and all i can do is to brute force shoutdown or try to kill application if possible.

Omega are 2,5,90... they improves my 3d performance a lot...
i would to have a solution for this problem i can only see first frame, then the video stops

I tried also to update bios... but this don't solved the problem

I read around the forum that's a known problem... where can i find omega based on ati catalyst 4,5?
I hope my 3D performance will be still better than before

I got the same problem with my 320m

You can find older omega drivers on omegadrivers.net then go to Ati Radeon then its under archive.

Try it out and tell me if it works for ya.

Installed omega based on catalyst 4.5 they works with video. I hope they work too with World of Warcraft :/

Bad news: with omega based on cat. 4.5 the direct x doesn't works. So no 3D game will run!!

Please if u had an hint how to fix this issues post here. I had to reinstall old bad HP video drivers

I have the same video card as u, coincedentally we have the same purposes for our laptop: video and wow, lol.

well for me, the latest omega drivers dat worked for me were the ones dat were based on the cat 3.6, every other one i tried either messed up my video playback, or my 3d games.

and just curious, wut fps do u get on wow?

I am using 4.5 as we speak. It works good, games & movies. I had the same problem with directX. What you should do is uninstall any video driver and delete all files. Then install your factory driver, over install 4.5 omega and you should be good to go.
