Wht's the deal with CCC's CLI.EXE?

Hey all,
Just installed the 4.10's. My question is:

Does the CLI.exe (from CCC) have to be running in order for A.I. to take effect? Because that process is like 30MB, so I'd rather have it not running if I don't have to.

CCC won't work without it, but you could try launching some game after having killed the CLI.EXE and see if the settings still take I guess. Or try the Omega drivers to get loads of features including AI controls without having to use CCC or MS.NET. The download is much smaller too.

Yea but the .90's give me problems in CS:S. Gonna wait for the Omegas based on the 4.10's, till then I'll just use these.

Try disabling AI when you game CS:S with 2.5.90 and do a "cl_smooth 0" in CS:S console before connecting to a server.

cl_smooth is mouse smoothing. It's set to 1 default in CS:S(was set to 0 default in CS 1.x) and it really can make your game a bumpy road to travel on...
