The 8.07beta are best, especially if you use a card with 256mb ram, since it has the fix for that.

8.07 beta hands down in my opinion.
You KNOW ati's doing good things when their beta is like this.

The reason why 4.10 came out after the 4.11 beta (8.07 ) is cause the 4.10 are an official full release that for me is been proved with no bugs (as much ). I'm playing again all the best Fps games and it works like a clock for me so I would suggest you to use the 4.10. The 8.07 is only for the 3DMark 05 that is a damn reason to have ur system like that just for extra frames at the benchmark.

lol, davisorle. its not for just 3dmark05 at all.
it fixed a game bug and also fixed a 256mb bug, where it wouldnt utilze all that space, until now. it also has to do with a certain function that some games and just so happens benchmarks use. its the way its suppose to work.
HL2 and 3dmark are just two examples of things that use the function. its a bug because it was suppose to work all along, but not fixed until now.

Okay, now I'm confused...
I have a Mobility Radeon 9700. What is the best driver for it?
I installed 8.07 and counter strike source runs like crap with weird coloring too. Unplayable to sum it up.
I used the mobile modder tool to installed this.
Also if anybody knows, the Sager download site has a video driver up for download. Does anybody know what catalyst version is that?
Point me to the best set of driver for the Mobility Radeon 9700 plz.
Thanks.

I tried that. Right after the reboot, my screen flickers uncontrollably... like flickers really fast that I can barely see anything on my desktop.

I know that but the point is the thread is to help the guy who's card has no 256 MB ram but 128 like mine and I think that 4.10 with my 9800 Pro works better . That's all I said. Does it sound so funny?

I love Omega's But the last ones had with like 90% of the people that used them problems! Like it did with me or else it would be my first suggestion. Not now though cause they r buggy a lot.
