Blue screen of death with all drivers

hello,

for some reson, for few days i cant use my graphic card.
when im trying to install a driver (both ATI's and Omega) im getting blue screen of death with error on the file ati2dvag.

i tried few drivers, even back to the old 4.4 driver. but still the same.

the card is readon 9500 (non pro), running XP pro SP2. the screen in connected via the VGA connector and not the dvi.

thank you all.

uninstall everything ATI from the control panel, then
try using driver cleaner (READ DIRECTIONS!)

if ur using the new CCC, make sure u have .net installed.

update ur computer from www.windowsupdate.com

if that has fixed the problem,id keep an eye on the fan for a short while maybe regularly clean the fan.if this has done this while it is fairly clean, look into replacing the fan this could be the best option.

ya very true. that fan needs to be watched and cleaned often. cause if it wasnt working that means ur card was overheating.

i suggest making your case better air effeiciant. meaning more powerfull fans (not to powerfull , more = louder and u dont want that). put one or two in the front and one or two in the back, mabe even cut out a hole on the side of the cause above the video card for more air flow and a fan.

When I see problems like this, I really wonder why more folks (especially hardcore gamers) don't water cool.

WC is getting to be almost fool-proof with kits like the Koolance Exos and others, and it dosan't take a rocket scientist to install any of them. It's not any harder than installing a new vid card.

You get rid of the fans (along with the noise they make), and get better cooling.

I've been running my EXOS for 24/7 (except for downtime when upgrading) for almost 2 years now, and I'll never go back to air cooling.

if people could buy the products watercooled all attached, then im sure they would. tho many people are to lazy to do that stuff. and the upkeep of water cooling is to annoying for some people. lets just say people are really lazy.

my watercooling isnt going to be a crappy water cooling system either... i use nothing but the best. :O
