If you mean that you would like to see video played on you PC on full screen on your TV, then enable tv-out and just enable the Theater Mode in the Overlay tab, in the Advanced options in Display properties. This will play video regular like in a window on the PC but always full screen it on the TV.

Sometimes in drivers if you enable a secondary display device it will make both display the same resolution.

And just so you know the correct 1280 resolution is 1280x960 NOT 1280x1024. The 1280x1024 is just a bad habit from when a monitor used on a Silicon Graphics workstation used that aspect ratio.

All the other resolutions that are normally available are 4:3=1.3333, but the 1280x1024=1.25 and even some games only offer the wrong resolution and not the correct one, go figure.

lcohen999:

There is one very nice proggie called UltraMon (currently at version 2.5), wich enables different resolutions on different screens. Yes, you can have 1280x1024 on monitor & 720x576 (or any other) on TV in same time...

But, as Gunny Highway stated, if you want just to watch movies on TV, use Overlay/theathre mode.

Question: IS THERE ANY WAY TO SET CUSTOM Overlay/Theatre mode RESOLUTION?!? Any just what's the default res.?
