Omega 2576 -> HL + MODs only 60Hz

well i have since catalyst 4.9 and omega 2576 only 60Hz at HL and MODs like CS, CSCZ

i have Radeon 9600xt ( sapphire ) card
the install settings are the default.
have radlinker 1014 installed

with the old version of Omega i had allways 80Hz.

is it possible to play HL + MODs with 80Hz now? ( new omega )

I have used DirectX overides to get 60 hz for some games to improve the quality using the latest Omegas, I tried the 4.9 cats and suffered the same visual quality problems. The game manufacturer said an older card would have worked fine or an Nvidia card. I will be damned if I am going to buy an Nvidia card because of one game, I would rather give the game away. lol

All you have to do is select the Display tab on the control panel, click on the monitor option, and refresh rate override to whatever Hz you were using before.

well its allready at 85Hz, but when i start HL + MODs i get 60 again :/

try reforce or refreshfix

windowsxp has always had the 60Hz problem, strange you havent noticed till now.

no, with the older Catalyst and Omega Drivers i had allways 85 Hz @ all games.

but since 4.9 and omega 2576 i have just 60Hz on HL Games, the most other games have still 85

well you can try what jeff suggested (start>run>dxdiag>more help>override)
are you using ogl or d3d for hl games
