Will there be any more Catayst releases for win9x/ME?

Yes, I know, I should be running XP, yadda yadda yadda. I just want to know if ATI plans on releasing any more catalysts beyond 4.7 for older OS's.

I dont think so. And yeah you should be running XP.

Yes they do, but probably not this year.

I'm trying to sweet talk 'em into whipping together a beta set for me that will support the X800 in 98se, but I'm the only one who has asked ATi to so they ain't putting a priority on it.

I'm seriously thinking of actually sitting down and trying to hack X800 support into the 4.7 set, it is something I ain't tried in a while.

i belive that ATI only updates new drivers for windows98 with new cards. meaning their should be some for x700 after a while. when they get to it they will work on one, their dedicated to performance and fixes for the NT core OS.

i thought they did add uspport for x800 in 98? they recently released a driver but im not 100% sure since i dont use eather of those digi ;p
