java crashes...
this is an odd issue to be having, and i'm going to nuke my system and do a fresh format as it's been a while anyways...but i was just wondering if this si an actual driver bug in the catalysts, in the jre, or if it's specific just to me:
upon openign a java application, the entire screen will blank out until i open up another box and smear it over the scren liek a paint brush to make the black go away, and even then parts of the black wills tay until i bring up task manager....
is this catalysts, j2re 1.4.2_05, or me?

I'd uninstall java, manually delete the java folder, download and reinstall java again and see if that fixes it...

I'm having the exact same problem since I installed the Omega 4.8's. Just waiting for the Omega 4.9's to see if that fixes it.

That is a known issue with the Cat drivers but it has been fixed in the 4.9s, well at least for me. Disable AA in the CP and it wont happen any more on the desktop but you shouldn't be having this issue with the 4.9s
Edit- Sorry, its not fixed for me either. Getting a little old now as this has been going on for three months for me and others say its been like this for almost, if not, a whole year.
