We were released New version of UniAN.
LuCiFeRL is so busy, I worked for oneself. This version may be simple.
Enjoy it.

# 2004/08/17 (v1.0.48)
- Based on ATI Catalyst v4.8
- The SoftMod for RADEON 9500np@9700/9800SE@9800pro are included (optionally).
- Add zeckensack's GLide wrapper v0.80d and ATI Tray Tools v1.0.0.362
- Not support mobile chipsets(only v1.0.48)

Great Work!!!!! i have compared these to the Omegas and i have to say that these UniAN Drivers won that. And i did not get any errors while installing, it was very smooth. I think Mindless will enjoy these as well.

Do future Unian Drivers plan to be compatible with mobility chipsets? I would love to give these a try.

LuCiFeRL is in charge of that part. He will do supporting mobility unless he is so busy.

For those of you who have downloaded and installed this new set of driver, have you noticed:

- There's no background when installing the drivers. I only got a brown background when in past Unian drivers I get to see cool Anime wallpapers.

- Also the red ATI wallpaper during installation is gone. Now I get ugly default Windows green as the background.

- There's also no Unian banner in the Control Panel anymore.

I've already downloaded the same drivers twice and still get the same problem. Anyway it's just these outlook that made me wonder if there are any bugs during installation. Other than that, these new set worked just fine for me. No benchies but played some games and they're running fine.

i do belive that lucifer was busy and left that stuff out, it also helped with the filesize to keep it smaller, so its no biggie. he did change some of the images he used in the installer tho... which is cool!

its left out, but no problem, its just the installer stuff, ya its also something i look forward to, like you apparantly :P

hmmm, these drivers are nice... faster but a tid lower on quality then omegas.. definetly faster then omegas though... if u have a lower end budget or mid budget card.. i recommend this driver over omegas, but if you have high end go with omegas...

ok just uninstalled the cats4.9b , but im confused should i install the softmod version or the regular option? im on a r350 ATI 9800pro.
please reply quickly if posible.

edit: ok intalled the regular drivers , and got the best aquamark03 score yet 42,226

, ok now ill go doom3 a little and see how they do.
looks real good so far , first time i use unian and i like them allready.

much better then omegs 4.8 base set of score 11058 I think there something worng with his set I used to get great scores from omega drivers I think he needs refix his set again. I like thease drivers and again no overdrive on

there is NO softmod for the 9800PRo and it even says it, i dont know why your confused. but just install them normally, no softmod is needed for your card

i dont think anything is wrong with omega drivers, i dont think using stupid benchmarks using a set of drivers made for gaming is acceptable, hell i hate 3dmark, and shun appaun it anyways.

BENCHAMARK GAMES, use 3dmark for stress test if you like.

yea i got confused coz it said 9800se@9800pro and i tought they mean 9800se and 9800pro. anyway i figured it out so installed the regular drivers and they rock.
and yes i whant to benchmark games and i also hate 3dmark03 its to bloddy long to finish, i like aquamark03 coz its 2.5mins long.
anyway i tried to bench with the timedemo in doom3 by typing in the console "timedemo demo1" this took me to the games main menu but the bench never started so i guess im doing something wrong, how do i bench with doom3?

Unians are the best drivers out there... Omegas are good but caused me alot of problems.. Keep up the good work Unian.. also anyone know there home address.
