As for performance Z last time I had tested they were right up there with omega's (very close) and they have a very pretty installer if you like anime...
this is how it works it's a joint effort between the (from Korea) neutral and asura driver moders
ASURA does a set, it's in Korean
Neutral does the installer and converts it to English and I assume makes changes himself

What benefits does the glide wrapper give?
Would it be smart to use it with counter-strike for more stable fps?

Ok, mirrored! It's fairly fast, so feel free to pass it around. Just please make sure to link link this page and not the file directly. Sorry for the way it's hosted, just makes it a little easier for me to keep tabs on the downloads...

Love the installer, a rock solid set of drivers, never had stability problems with them, and damn nice IQ, on par with Omega sets. Both sets rock, just a matter of preference.

The iq is top notch for me, the drivers themselves are about the same speed for me as omegas, which are slightly above catalyst in games. I've had no crashing with Unian whatsoever. The reason I use them rather than Omegas is that, like ati's reference drivers, the refresh forcing in the ati cp works when I alt tab or windows key out of a game. For some reason with omega's set, whenever I do that the game goes back to 60hz. Plus, I don't have to uninstall radlinker and reinstall with Unian's set, it just works when I install them, just like ati's drivers.
So I use em cause they are convenient for me, have a little speed boost, and the anime is nice during install

The glide wrapper will indeed be a selling point for me..... If it'll run Need For Speed 2 SE or other variants (even the OLD style voodoo 1 based glide for say GTA 1)..

i like them because they were stable for me, more stable than other drivers when i was having signal loss problems, and they also ran fast, and high iq as usuall. they also are conviniant, and nice size this time too. not to mention they fixed some other things in some games for me too. if anyone wants annother mirror for these message me, i have one up, but not enough bandwidth to supply the entire community, also if a mirror would like to host them to the rest, i will allow you to get it from myself too.

wekl the wrappers anyone can install just search glide wrapper and you get a gazliion hit but reading it may not be perfict
the is glide to d3d and opengl wrappers
What are Wrappers?
Small programs which convert the calls of one graphics API into another. This means you can run Glide without having a glide graphics card (e.g. 3dfx Voodoo2), but using a Direct3D or OpenGL card (e.g. nVidia GeForce) instead. (You still need hardware 3D acceleration of some sort if you want playable speeds!)
Are there any drawbacks to using Wrappers?
You are effectively adding another layer of emulation (emulating a 3dfx card as well as the N64!). There can be problems, such as graphics glitches and increased sound stuttering (e.g. when the wrapper takes CPU time away from the emulator). In particular, you are likely to always lose some visual effects (usually fog, and more subtle things like certain kinds of dynamic lighting or transparency, for example). None of the wrappers are perfect, but in many games they are close, and more than adequate.

I installed UniAN and installed the glidewrapper too. I configured it to work on everything and ive tested counter-strike (opengl). I cant seem to see any changes at all. How do i set cs to use glide?.
And since its run in opengl my opengl settings (AA, AF) is visible. So that means that its clear its still on normal opengl and not glide. I've read the readme but it doesnt give me any answers.

Glide seems to work really well... Here's a pic courtesy one of my friends, using these drives and the glide wrapper with the original Unreal Tournament.

a friend of mine has tried this set and thinks its wonderful. its good to see modders out there (apart from omega) who act in a mature way and deliver the goods
if anyone else has tried these, let us know, im interested to hear more feedback.

I'll admit to playing FarCry way too long after installing them last night. So far so good, things seems a bit smoother than with the official set. The river run level is gorgeous...

counterstrike has an option in the settings to select glide. there is d3d, oGL and annother one for 3dfx or something, choose that one, its in the combo box, i belive, i dont remember which one its under tho (not installed on this computer, and i just uninstalled it on a workstation i had it on).

Glide Wrapper works pretty well on my system but im getting some flickering textures at times on unreal 1. Besides that it looks as good as my voodoo2 sli setup in my old p3 450 system.

I have been using the UniAn driver sets for the last six or eight months with no problems at all. They seem to work the best for me.

I figured I'd give these a try and I am really impressed with these drivers. Great work for all those involved.

I would also like to know more about the wrapper. On the older CS versions you could choose youre ogl driver and the way MindlessOath worked. Now on Steam and 1.6 time there's no such options in video menu
Only software, ogl and d3d
