Omega Drivers 4.7 Based Release Date?
When is the Release Date for Omega's Drivers Based on 4.7???
Is Cat 4.7 faster then Omega's 4.6/NGO opengl driver for Opengl games like CS???? |

ok for whoever read this. The Cat 4.7 scored 6703 3Dmarks03 and the Omega Based on 4.6 (lastest Omega) scored 6778 so until Omega releases new ones i am sticking with Omega Based on 4.6.

well i cant try either of them atm
 computers in sick bay with bad hard drive, so i took out an old 233mhz gateway computer i been trying to get running stable (damn virus from a cd i made long time ago bah, i didnt install antivirus until now).. anyways i always like to see what omega has in options... hell i would be satisfied if he released a changelog of stuff atm (even if my computer was working still). |

Have some patience!!
Remember Omega's are done in his spare time.......and you get them for nothing!! He doesn't get paid to make them.
It normally takes up to a week for the new Omega's to come out, just have some patience and they will be here before you know it.........after all.......it isn't like you guys are going to DIE without them  |

lol..i always enjoy these threads that pop up EVERY month....give the man some time....he's got a large jumble of files to mess with and lines and lines of code to tinker with, and other tinkerer's to wait out, and then a fashionably late entrance to build hype and make yall pee yourselves with anxiety(just kidding)

I asked omegadrive, I hope I can post that, hmm why not, better for him so he don't have to write to everybody. Damn I am waiting for them and I click on his site 100 times á day .. he said ...
The drivers are ready, but I will not be released yet, I'm waiting on someone to update one of the included utilities with a few things I want to add for the new set, and is very important. What utilitie could that be?? |

I've yet to see (or notice most likely) the Author of ATI TOOL on DH and posting... i pay a good amount of attention to the SPECIAL members logging on.. ChrisW is around a fair amount.. but i haven't seen anyone else really... Anyways... If the author decides to do a Special Omega Eddition of ATI TOOL and IF he/she builds it into the Control panel.. that would be outright AWESOME!

It's not really a problem but I have the Cat. 4.7 and I lost 3 Frames and more in all games and 400 Points in Aquamark, so I need to install old or the new ones from Omega .... and let's say I only wanted to know when he is finished with them

Well, I am leaving on vacation tomorrow so by time I get back they will be out and y'all will have installed and posted opinions. Then I can just go ahead an install or not based on the reviews. Will actually save me some time in waiting for the reviews to come out
