DNA beta driver set

ks released another set of drivers today I guess...just reading about them HERE if anybody wants to try em out. Not too sure about this experimental high fps thing...seems like an omega/ngo driver cross

Yes, this is a free forum, but I have coem to the conclusion that the majority of the board strongly dislikes KS//DNA related things and that those who like often stay somewhat quiet about it, as whenever a DNA thread is started there's bashing. Too bad Zardon's right, after Omega released his 4.6s he decided to add his CS OGL driver and claim that it's faster than the other ones. Hmm I wonder if his new High FPS option greatly decreases IQ, any one tried it yet?

I TRIED to install the dna drivers just for shiz n giggles, I tried a couple diff. times and wouldn't install for a damn. Ended up having to do a system restore to get things working correctly.

That'll be the last time I do that again...

ya, same with me... everytime i try this crap it goes wrong. and i dont think its great that he added in options that everyone else has, in fact i dont think its a good idea for omega drivers to have the openGL old drivers (DNA drivers use an older openGL driver if im not mistaken(or a tad newer)). plus it has no softmod from what is said in the descriptions, and its based off of the beta drivers from what IBM or asus.. pfft.

These are NOT recommended by ATI. Real drivers are coming this week.

am I the only one who doesn'thave install issues with these? I've never had an install issue once and I've tried most of his sets.

For the record...I have never even downloaded DNA's drivers.
Reason being...I have never heard anything good about them...from any site.

eh I'll give em a try Omegas Newest release wasn't very good at all, the special ogl driver didn't do much at all for CS. Or OGL games. And Neon wtf is your obsession with clint eastwood...the guy is a total candy ass and made some of the worst movies...and the fact it's a guy. My curiosity is sparked because it looks like ya spent forever on a msg board sig.

Well I said the same about NWO's sets based on that file but people still raved about them.

Who's say I have obsession with clint eastwood? What becouse I'm the_neon_cowboy who would ever tought I'd have a cowboy avatar/siggy?

You must not watch westerns I've seen from early black in white to current day. Clint eastwood is along the lines of jhon wayne.

If I wanted to board warrior it up like you I would have said some mean things. I was just wondering about your sig cause neon cowboy sounds like an anime, and clint was horrible. you coulda gone with the duke, or a million other actors..fawk neon cowboy sounds like one of the Young Guns characters. But speaking of starting trouble how come 70% of your post seem to be cutting someone down....

Well I could use cowboy bebop or a dozen other things but I like the one I have I'll use it till I get board with it...

the neon cowboy always posts helpfull stuff. he doesnt cut anybody down, unless the just cause is their. isnt the neon baddies from cowboy beboop the guy your name is based off of? well hey were all getting off subject now. leason learned dont use DNA drivers for many reasons, one of which it gives marginal performance leads in some places but not always and even tho the set is getting better its not even recomended by the ATI driver guys, let alone anyone with common sence or a good ethical understanding. just use the regular catalyst drivers if ya ask me.
