refresh rate

Hey,
I`m Using Omega 2536b.
My refresh rate overide seems to have crapped out a bit.
I use to be able to crank up to 120hz on my monitor in 3.7,3.8 version of the drivers.
at some point this has gone, now I can only get 85hz. what gives ?
I normally do it all in control panel and its fine. now it aint.

I dont use a refresh rate tweaker since none of them seem to work for me.

any ideas ?

What type of monitor are you using?
For what resolution are you trying to enable 120hz?

I think so, it lists my monitor correctly, ie radeon9700pro on iiyama... blah blah
maybe i`ll try re-`inf`ing it then ?

it gets up to 85hz but i want my 120 back. 8)

well I used to use 800x600 at 120hz, then found I could run 1024x768. hmmm maybe it`d work back in lower
resolution. didnt think of that. hehe might not be supported at that res.

its a iiyama visionmaster 8512E(dont quote me though, i`m at work at the moment)
17inch, nowt special.

which reminds me, how do I know what a new monitor will `refresh rate` up to, which spec do I check
if I want to buy a 19 or 22incher. ?

thanks for the quick replies guys.

if you are looking for a new monitor.... find a product... and then research on it.... usually the Entire Refresh Rate limits PER resolution will be shown in the detailed spec lists on the Manufacturers Site
