Problems with Omega 2.5.22 Softmod
Hello,
I am using on my system P4 2,6GHz, WinXP SP1, 756 MB RAM , Tyan 9500pro 128MB for a long time Omega Softmod version 2.4.96c. I am running it with 1024x768x16, 4xAA, 8xAF. Main application is MS Flight Simulator 2004. The 2.4.9.6c driver provided maximum fps together with 100% stability in this case. For test purposes (fps), I installed driver version 2.5.22 Softmod, which basically provided similar frame rates as 2.4.96c. But on two of three flights, the system crashed totally. After about one hour of flight without any problems before, suddenly the screen freezed. The crash happened at a situation without any special interaction. The system crashed totally, i.e. it was necessary to switch it off and on again. Does anybody have an idea, how to avoid this problem ? Are there possibly any settings, I could try, to avoid it ?
