AIW radeon 9700 pro drivers
I have a AIW Radeon 9700 Pro and when using The omega catalyst 4.3 drivers there are two options for drivers: Radeon 9700 Pro or the All-In-Wonder Radeon 9700 Series. The problem I'm haing is that the tv tuner works great on the All-In-Wonder driver, but the performance suffers - I only get a score of 3560 in 3dmark 03, where with the 9700 Pro driver I get a score of 4930, but the tv tuner has no video. do I have to use the all-in-wonder driver or is there some sort of patch? this is my system:

AMD Athlon xp 1800+ @ 1.62ghz
1.00 GB PC2700
DFI LanParty mobo

did you do clean driver installs both times? using DriverCleaner?

have you tried the ATI Catalyst 4.3?

yes, the problem being, when I re-install, it automatically defaults to the radeon 9700 series all in wonder driver, which yields lower performance
