Asus mobo+ 9800pro = problems?

Hey guys,

I'm RMA'ing a 9700pro that i had bought.. It was having a lot of freezing problems, i read in my P4P800 asus manual that it wasn't going to work well with that 9700pro but i only found that out after buying the card.. Well, anyway.. I'm thinking about getting 9800pro

Are there any known issues with the Asus boards and the 9800pro like there are with the 9700pro?

Check my sig. and that problem listed in the manual refers to the first rev 97KPros. I ran one with this setup for a few weeks with no problems.

Yeah, the card that I got was not the one with the right last 2 numbers.. the ones ending in 11 or higher.. but was like 09.. I shoulda RMA'ed it sooner

I have a 2.4c also... I've been trying to overclock , but haven't gotten far at all.. I think its my low end geil ram.. I might get some corsair also..

My cooling solution is a Zalman ALCU Heatsink.. I heard its not the best OC'ing HSF but its very quiet..

I've also been gettin a IRQL_Less_or_not_equal error, and I googled it and there are a lot of different issues it could be

i just downloaded memtest86 and the windows memory test and if the ram is the problem.. its too late to RMA it back to newegg, and Geil doesn't even have a website i think..
