Thermal Monitoring with Sapphire 9600XT

I want to monitor temps on my 9600XT (sapphire). Is this possible? Will it work if I install the ATI drivers instead of the omega version of the 4.3 drivers?

no alot of them (the card markers) are disableing the feature via the cards bios so that they can make use of 3rd party monitoring and over clocking programs

so if he flashes the bios with lets say a Orginal ATI bios.. he might be able to reenable it?.. (is the diode built into the chip.. or is it onboard somewhere).. another question would be if he did.. would the be other problems such as the Overdrive trying to crank the fan speed up and resulting in not working in the case that saphire completely removed the fan switches...... and one last thing..... would the ATI bios even work... is the BBATI reference board similare enough to the one he has?
