Dual CRT's + gaming issue need help

Hello, i just recently bought a new 19" Samsung Syncmaster 955DF and i decided to run the dual monitor setup since i had a dvi-to-vga adaptor kicking around. The actualy dual screens run fine, but as soon as i load up a game on my new monitor my old screen shifts to the right about half a screen my original desktop half of it goes to my other screen while im in full screen mode of cs or any game. So basically i load up CS in my main monitor it load's fine in full screen mode, as for my second monitor say i have paintshop docked and maximized, as soon as CS load's my right monitor shift's half a screen length. Paintshop stays docked but shifts over to the right meanwhile my desktop goes with it half of my desktop is now on my rightside of my screen i can see the clock and systray but that's it. So basically iits pushing everything over to teh right half a screen once a game load's anyone have any ideas?

ok.... check your resolutions.... some games just were never built with Dual monitor in mind... or they were but not in the way current technology could provide..... Try setting both monitors to the same Resolution first... then try.... also.... depending on which monitor has the lowest resolution of the two... some games refuse to work correctly if the game isn't run at the same resolution as it.... (lets say you have a 17 inch monitor running 1024x768 as your secondary... and your 19" running default 1600x1200...before you had the 2nd monitor.. you were running a game at 1280x1024.... however.. now with the 17 inch also running.. you get graphical curroptions or whatever..... disable the 2nd monitor... enter the game as normal... set a resolution capable with the 2nd..... exit... enable monitor 2... and try again.. should work great.... ALSO... you may see a small minimal drop in FPS with another monitor on just to warn you...

it's not that my second monitor can't support the game resolution, it can perfectly fine, but my delima is the hole screen on my old monitor shift's over to the right once a game is loaded. Not that it doesnt support it the res but shifts for no apparent reason.

that's the thing... when i switched my 17 inch for another but still had 2 different resolutions on them... it would totally messed up my monitors if the game wasn't set to the lowest of the 2..... most likely another eissue
