arrow aiw 9700 pro 128mb refresh

I recently Purchased the All in Wonder 9700 pro 128mb after having a Radeon 9000 pro 128mb. My question is my 9000 i could get 100mhz @1280x1024... But it seems I can only Get 85mhz @1280x1024 out of my aiw 9700 pro????? i use a viewsonic pf790 monitor which is suppose to support that 1280x1024 @120mhz.. Gaming it seems fine but i did notice faintly lines moving up and down the screen kind of like wavy lines almost like you can see it refreshing. I am using up to date drivers from ati. I tried Omegas drivers and same thing happens.. Any help would be greatly appreciated.. O all my drivers are upto date

Ok i installed monitor drivers when i goto display tab in control panel and uncheck "use ddc information" and set max resolution to 1280x1024 and set maximum refresh 100 it shuts the monitor off for about 10 seconds and then comes back on to previous good settings???? I am clueless 9000 supports better refresh rates than the 9700 aiw i dont believe it

The reviews for that monitor are not promising..

The ViewSonic PF790 comes with a clearly written manual, but its performance was disappointing. There was significant moiré patterning that user controls couldn't fix and a lack of purity in color consistency testing; we'd pass this one by.
