Naviset DDC/CI issues
I have an NEC FE2111SB monitor with a BBA 9800XT at stock settings. I'm currently using Omega's current drivers.
When I install Naviset my display corrupts from time to time. Appearing as if it's under water with images bouncing and smearing out. I've also noted this on my brothers computer which is almost identical except he has a Philips monitor. If I don't install Naviset my geometry is all out of whack and diffacult to adjust properly with the OSD. It's not an EMI issue because there's nothing near the monitor that would cause interference. I've even changed the power source to eliminate that. When I searched NEC and ATI here's what I found ATI: http://search.ati.com/nasearch.asp?Q...otal=&Stat=New NEC http://www.necmitsubishi.com/support...20Download#ATI I only experienced the issue described there a few times but was able to resolve it. Is anyone else having the problem I described above? Better yet is there a fix fo it?

I used NaviSet with my now gone Mitsu 930SB and only had a problem with it if I reinstalled the display drivers while it was already installed. I had to uninstall NaviSet before upgrading the drivers and reinstall it afterwards. Maybe this will help? Also try using the regular ATi drivers to see if its any better, maybe one of the tweaks in Omegas' is interfering?
PS. Also try using the DH DriverCleaner. I can't say enough about this little app, it simply rocks. Follow the instructions in the 'read me' file. http://www.driverheaven.net/cleaner/ |

Thanks Kakarot.
I'm a big fan of DC myself as well. It's a great program. I follow the method here for clean installing drivers and reformat for the major ones.I noticed this issue on standard Cat's as well. It's hard to reproduce it though. When I saw the same thing on my Brothers computer I began to wonder if anyone else has had this issue. It's not temp related either because I have my CPU and GPU watercooled. I only up the clock when I game.
