9800SE Softmod - Best driver to do so ?
Hello, I recently used the Omega drivers with softmod 9800se to 9800pro, and becuase i have a saphire card it comes up with blackdots on direct3d games etc. but a brilliant performance imporvement
Are there any other drivers / programs / etc that do the softmod that I could try out ? thx |

well not that i know of ... there like one guy/program that makes/made the softmod files there is like only one way to do it. You might have an unmodable card or something. you could try this file here this is the file used for your mod. try it with the regular cat 4.1's a see if it works for ya

You could try the softmod available at
http://www.ocfaq.com Go to the download section and it explains what to do. i have used both omega and the ocfaq ones they both work fine. An added bonus of the ocfaq one at them moment is that the 4.1's are available there. |

It's Fixed !@#!!
After A brilliant suggestion from a reply to another thread, I was advised to enable AA and AF, and it got rid of the black chequre board and I get to ke ep the performance increase )
