Asus Radeon 9600XT

Am undecided whether I should/should not install Omega 3.10s with above mentioned card. Would greatly appreciate any advice, warnings, etc. that might help me make up my mind. I am presently using Cat 3.9s + Asus drivers and am having problems setting the refresh rate in the ''displays'' tab to match the 85hz setting in the ''monitor'' tab - screen flickers with anything above 60hz(disp. tab) I am also having problems with the Asus Smart Doctor constantly giving me annoying voltage and fan warnings - but that's another story...
PS - KIS I'm relatively new at all this
Thanks
