exclamation Omega Error

Ok, I have a Radeon 9500 on a 9700 board and i wanted to use the omega to softmod it becuase wizard's site wen't offline. Anyways, I installed the omega system (rad_w2kxp_omega_2504.exe) correctly, or at least what I can only assume as correct. The problem is that there is a werid 'mosaic' type thing going around, Check the link to see exactly what i mean. It hapens on some things and not others. Anyone know what this could be ?

One question: Does this happens when you use the wizard mod?

When i used the wizard mod it didn't happen, but i was thinking that maybe it's just my graphics card. Btw it happens on all themes, if anyone is thinking its that.

I'm investigating the issue, maybe there was an error in the soft-mod, I'll keep you posted...

Sorry man I installed the regular ati drivers becuase it was annoying. But i can tell you differnt things about it. Regular medium sized text on websites and images looked fine, but if i enlarged the fon't they became 'mozaiced' and also movies in WMP had these things unless i resized it correctly. It was quite werid, if i make WMP large then correctly resized it, i could get rid of the squares. Also something worth noting is that in windows xp, when i opened any panel with the left XP panel (for example, your control panel or 'my computer') it was black and white square grid.

Help! I'm not sure if I have similar problem. I have Excalibur Radeon 9600 Pro. Was running previous omega driver version (24.96) with no probs. Downloaded omega upgrade (25.04) and ran over the top. Got no errors on installation except now i have a blurring of icons, whether desktop or application. Similar to the mosiac effect I have almost a doubling of the icons as if they are not aligned. Tried uninstalling, reinstalling, removed and replaced card and used driver cleaner between tries. Reloaded ATI drivers instead and it makes no difference. Gonna try rolling back omega versions to see if that works. But not holding out much chance...I need ideas. Thanks
