Radeon 9500 Pro - PCB Type and 256-bit Bus

Hi Fellas,

I'm considering purchasing a Radeon 9500 Pro. I have a 9500 NP right now which will softmod to a 256-bit bus but the extra pipelines are broken. Any way, I was wondering if I should look for a 9500 Pro with the L-shaped memory and red PCB. I've come across many 9500 Pros that have the red PCB but have the straight-line memory. I'm interested in soft-moding this card and taking it up to a 256-bit bus and so on.

Thanks!
oldy

Some shops still have a few 9700 left, they cost about the same as the 9500 Pros... would that be a better option than a 9500 Pro?

System Specs

I would go for the 9700 personally over a 9500 Pro
